QUARK

Since 1981 as its first year of appearance, the famous programme QUARK has left an indelible mark on popular scientific broadcasting.
Bruno Bozzetto's animations, present since the first edition, have allowed to simplify complex scientific contents thanks to a visual comment to Piero Angela's off screen comment, that ranges in the most different topics : from quantum physics to human behaviour, from genetic engineering to economy and ecosystem...

Cartoon made by Antonio Dall' Osso

HOMO TECHNOLOGICUS
This cartoons series, made of 58 episodes created by Piero Angela and Bruno Bozzetto have the object to explain in a simple, yet funny way some of the most important concepts in the field of scientific research and technological development. These cartoons (produced with the help of skilled scientists) show how such a development requires a cultural transformation to face the quick changes occurring in the world. They have been broadcasted by RAI1 with great success within the scientific programme QUARK.
